About Peshawar Services Club
Peshawar Services Club, founded in 1863 in a Bungalow Peshawar Club, which was a portion of the present premises and then known as No. 40 the Mall. It was purely a social club, open for membership to Europeans and Indians of the gazette class.
Those days, the club was known as Vale Hunt Club.

Games Club
A Separate Club, known as the Games Club, came into existence a few years later, commissioning three Tennis Courts and two Racquet Courts. The Games Club had an independent membership and soon included Polo in its curriculum, using the present Saddar Polo Ground as its venue. The present Race Course was then a snipe Jheel. The Peshawar Vale Hunt had its Headquarters in the Peshawar Club.
More Buildings
In 1899, the Club, after the addition of more buildings, a Lawn Tennis Ground and Football Ground, extended its membership to 250, which gradually rose later. Nonetheless, the members subscribed to a mandatory Rs. 50/-. The race course was commissioned, regular races held and a Golf Course and another Polo Ground were added.
1934-1991
After acquiring additional land on lease, the Club buildings were enlarged in 1934-35 and in the next two decades, more Residential Quarters, new Dining Rooms, Library and Auditorium were added. 1937 saw the opening of a filtered Swimming Pool, while the Cinema Club was introduced in 1969 and Guest Rooms were added gradually in later years. An adhoc Gymnasium was started in 1990 and in 1990-91, block of ten new Guest Rooms was added.
Expansion Works
For the first time, major works of expansion, renovation and repairs, including the uplift and restoration of traditions/ heritage in the building façade were carried out in 1996-97. A Dining Hall tastefully decorated, an expanded Banquet Hall with a stage and bridal room increasing capacity to 500-600 persons as against the existing 250-300 with beautiful décor, a fully functional Gymnasium and a Salon were added. Survey of Club stocks/ assets and conditions of service, membership and general management were all systemized in the periodical meetings of Managing Committee during 1996-97. Peshawar Club was renamed as "Peshawar Services Club" in December 1997.
Swimming Pool
In 2014, the existing Swimming Pool was converted to an all-weather Pool with an artistic design. New Seating Lounge and Conference Halls were added. Renovation of Billiards Room was also carried out.
Gymnasium
In 2015, Gymnasium was improved with addition of new multipurpose machines and a Table Tennis Room was added adjusent to the Swimming Pool building. Later, indoor badminton courts have been added adjacent to marquees.

In 2021, The Club Cafe has been started. The Club Cafe offers italian Cofee, sandwitches, American Breakfast and many more...
